Abstract

Smart water management is one of the essential requirement in order to serve demand of water across the world. It is necessary to look for change the existing boundary conditions and find effective and efficient solutions for this burning global challenges. To overcome these challenges, the advancement of digital technology helps to meet Industry development by introducing Water 4.0. This paper presents the Water 4.0 and its impact along with existing solution and real time challenges. It is quite necessary to focus on linking of sensors, computer models, servers, Internet of Things (IOT) with heavy participation of intelligent Networks over internet and to serve this emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligent (AI) and Machine learning (MI) can be used. This can be achieved by merging real and virtual worlds into so- called Cyber Physical Systems (CPS). Thus Water 4.0 can help world to push the existing solutions boundary and meet the resource productivity and efficiency.
