Abstract
This chapter discussed the basic concept of PLL technique. The type of utility grid that will be fed by the renewable energy source and the standards and/or laws that must be followed will determine which PLL is appropriate. The most powerful PLLs now in use contain a lot of sophisticated features and capabilities.
