Abstract

Inclusive education is pivotal in fostering equitable learning environments that accommodate diverse student needs, backgrounds, and learning styles. This chapter explores transformative curriculum and pedagogical approaches that promote inclusivity and equity in education. It examines the theoretical foundations of inclusive education, highlighting the role of social constructivism, universal design for learning (UDL), and culturally responsive teaching in shaping equitable learning experiences. Furthermore, it discusses practical strategies for implementing inclusive curricula, including differentiated instruction, multimodal assessments, and technology-enhanced learning. Case studies from various educational contexts illustrate the impact of these approaches on student engagement, achievement, and overall educational outcomes.
