Abstract

In the title compound, [PdCl₂(C₂₀H ₁₇P)₂], the Pd^II atom lies on a center of symmetry, resulting in a distorted trans-square-planar geometry. The Pd - P and Pd - Cl bond lengths are 2.3366 (7) and 2.2966 (7) Å, respectively. The vinyl group is disordered over two sets of sites in a 0.696 (15):0.304 (15) ratio.
