Abstract
We present results of the temperature and magnetic field dependencies of physical properties of ferromagnetic CeAuGe. Data of magnetic susceptibility and specific heat suggest that the ordering temperature is shifted upward in applied fields. The magnetic 4f-electron derived specific heat of CeAuGe reveals a crystal-electric field excitation amounting to ΔCEF / kB = 240 K.
