Abstract

This chapter introduces the purpose of the Routledge Handbook for Advancing Integration in Mixed Methods Research and briefly reviews the 34 chapters across the handbook’s seven sections. This chapter also reviews how the handbook editors conceptualize integration, and why the mixed methods research field can benefit from focusing on this topic.
