Abstract

This paper is concerned with the control of Duffing chaotic system with uncertainty. Based on the stability theory and adaptive control approach, for the system with unknown bounded disturbance, we design an adaptive controller, whose parameters are in general conditions. Then we define the concept of signal synchronization. Combining adaptive control approach with the concept of signal synchronization, we give theoretical proofs to show the input and output can be synchronous. Several simulation examples also show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
