Abstract

Two new indole derivatives, cyclopiazonic acid imine (II) and bissecodehydrocyclopiazonic acid (V), have been isolated from a strain of Penicillium cyclopium Westling grown on liquid culture. The structures of these compounds have been deduced on the basis of chemical and spectrochemical evidence.
