N2 - The study measured the impact of quality management on supply chain and understood the principles of industry 4.0 in daily supply chain of organizations. Qualitative data collection was utilised for this study, and it granted a doorway into understanding the industry view on quality management applications within the supply chain, the general attitude towards quality management and revelation of the potential problems of implementing quality practices within a supply chain. Data was obtained from primary sources through interviewing employees, and convenience sampling was used. Findings of the study revealed that quality in the supply chain plays an eminent role, as the supply chain is the critical point of adding value in the product or service being offered. The study was conducted in a large scale of manufacturing firms that have long supply chains located in South Africa. The recommendations of this research include improvement of management commitment, continuous improvement, development of win/win relationships, customer engagement, thus promote and improve client-supplier relationships within the supply chain. These recommendations can be applied as solution to surge the impact of quality management on the supply chain.
