Abstract
A study of Commonwealth Development Corporation (CDC) a MNC which is governed by official statutes laid down by a national government. Finds that the spatial attributes of this type of MNC are inexplicable without recognition of these statutory provisions. Second, the CDS's successful pressure to recast its character of operations indicates the degree to which a nominally public enterprise can exhibit autonomy. Third, when a public enterprise is charged with the responsibility of breaking even financially, the principles underlying its changing international spatial organization may parallel those of the private sector MNC. -from Author
