The Entrepreneurial Leadership Role of Principals: Doing More with Less Financial Resources

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

School finances are one of the major factors that influence what happens within a school as an organization. Based on the National Norms and Standards for School Funding (NNSSF) policy, schools across different quintile rankings received differential per capita funding to manage its operational and upkeep requirements. As noted in the extant literature on school funding, most schools find themselves in a financial quandary to manage their responsibility of providing quality school education. This chapter explores how some principals generate additional funding to support the needs of their schools.
