Abstract

A fraction of core-collapse supernovae of type Ib/c which were associated with gamma-ray burst to produce highly relativistic jets were discussed. The relativistic jets expected from such core collapses were expected to produce a ~TeV neutrino precursor burst. It was assumed that a larger fraction of core-collapse supernoave produce slower jets, which may contribute to the disruption and ejection of the supernovae envelope, and explain the unusually energetic hypernoave. The TeV neutrino signatures expected from such slower jets were explored and the expected detection rates with upcoming Gigaton Cherenkov experiments were experimented.
