Abstract

Building information modelling has been the modern innovative technology reshaping the construction industry. However, building information modelling by construction small and medium enterprises in Nigeria will improve their performance through quality project output, increased productivity and sustainable resources, and time management in building production management. This study aims to assess the adoption level of building information modelling by construction small and medium enterprises in Nigeria through a critical review of extant literature. This is necessary to identify the level of adoption of building information modelling among construction small and medium enterprises in Nigeria. The importance of this study is to show how beneficial building information modelling is to the small and medium enterprises in Nigeria’s construction industry.
