Abstract
This paper refers to the utilization of simulation modeling for a manufacturing system by evaluation of the performance measures of the system. The application of manufacturing system model created and simulated by SimEvents toolbox of Simulink library in MATLAB is illustrated. The present study mainly focuses on exploration and evaluation of SimEvents toolbox in case of three jobs and six machines job-shop problem.
