The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article. A number of image integrity concerns were raised by a third party. The authors requested a correction that was published on the 27th February, correcting Figures 3, 5, 7, and 8. However, concerns were raised regarding overlap with papers published earlier or under consideration at the same time. Specifically: After correction, Figure 7c overlaps with Figure 12c of another publication by different authors [1]. After correction, Figure 8a overlaps with Figure 12a of another publication by different authors [1], Figure 4a of another publication by different authors [2], and Figure 4a in a paper by the same authors [3]. A panel in Figure 2 overlaps with Figure 1 in [3], Figure 2 in [4], and Figure 1 in [5]. All three figures illustrate the production of different alloys/composites. Another panel in Figure 2 overlaps with Figure 2 in a paper under consideration at the same time [6]. Thematic overlap was detected with a paper under consideration at the same time by the same authors [3]. After correction, Figure 7c overlaps with Figure 12c of another publication by different authors [1]. After correction, Figure 8a overlaps with Figure 12a of another publication by different authors [1], Figure 4a of another publication by different authors [2], and Figure 4a in a paper by the same authors [3]. A panel in Figure 2 overlaps with Figure 1 in [3], Figure 2 in [4], and Figure 1 in [5]. All three figures illustrate the production of different alloys/composites. Another panel in Figure 2 overlaps with Figure 2 in a paper under consideration at the same time [6]. Thematic overlap was detected with a paper under consideration at the same time by the same authors [3]. The authors failed to provide a sufficient response to these concerns or raw data upon request. The Editor has lost confidence in the data and conclusions of this article. Author Victor Sunday Aigbodion has not explicitly stated whether he agrees or disagrees with this retraction. Authors Abdelrahman Osama Ezzat, Hamad A. Al-Lohedan and Chinemerem Jerry Ozoude have not responded to correspondence from the publisher regarding this retraction.
