Abstract

The Editor-in-Chief has retracted this article. After publication, a number of image integrity concerns were raised. Figure 3D of this article appears to overlap with Fig. 3 in an earlier article [1]. Figure 10D in this article appears to overlap with Fig. 14 in [2]. One panel was found to partially overlap, and another was found to fully overlap with Fig. 6 in [3]. Figure 1 overlaps with Fig. 4 in a paper under consideration at the same time [4]. The spectra in Fig. 8 of the aforementioned paper [4] appears to overlap with the spectra in Fig. 4 of this paper, but in reference to different materials. Table 2 in this article and Table 1 of [4] also present the same data. A high proportion of textual overlap was also found between this article and [4]. The Editor has lost confidence in the data and conclusions presented in this article. Authors Clifford Ugochukwu Nwoji, Victor Sunday Aigbodion and John Akpan John have not responded to the publisher regarding this retraction.
