Renewable energy in Zimbabwe

Abstract

This paper explores and outlines the development of renewable energy in Zimbabwe. To date, there is a dearth of information on renewable energy in the country and existing frameworks to support renewable energy technologies. The prospects and challenges to the promotion and adoption of renewable energy technologies are discussed. The paper makes recommendations to aid the development and dissemination of renewable energy technologies (RETs) in the country.
