Abstract

The pandemic has had numerous long-term effects across the globe and has impacted strongly on various workplaces and concepts of work. In Covid-19, organisations and employees working in remote working scenarios have collectively reorganised work. It is often pointed out that women have faced more challenges than men during Covid-19. This chapter, however, aims to present a qualitative single case study of a selected woman leader, the remote working environment, and how it contributes to the empowerment of women. Also presented in this chapter is how the remote workplaces have become a source of empowerment for a woman leader, her team, and her organisation as a whole.
