Abstract

The heterogeneous nature of emerging technologies viz internet connections has increased the propensities for information technology services to be available to humans, in a wide range of applications. The nascent development of digitization and proliferation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) solution in manufacturing practices (e.g., Internet of Production), draws concerns. The authors provide inferential justifications for the application of internet protocols to transform business operations that has to do with sustainable production and other manufacturing services in the near future. The paper is a contribution to the knowledge of IoT architecture, with emphasis on the tendencies to influence organizational effectiveness and diversify systems integration.
