Abstract

For the registration process at a conference to be successful, a delegate's information needs to be verified quickly and accurately. In this paper, a system using external radio frequency identification devices (RFID) to bridge the gap between digital information and user requirements at a conference, is described. The system presented in this paper is divided in two subsystems, a registration subsystem and a presentation subsystem. These subsystems are written in C++ and use a connection module, to connect to an external MySQL database, written in C.
