Abstract
In this paper, the results of the path loss exponent and time dispersion parameters obtained from a set of channel measurements conducted in outdoor roadway environment, typical of Infostation network scenario is presented. The measurement procedure takes into account the practical scenarios that is characteristic of the positions and movements of users in the network. The measurements were carried out in the frequency band of 3.1-5.3 GHz and line-of-sight (LOS) propagation scenarios. We presented the values of the path loss exponent and time dispersion (RMS delay spread and mean excess delay) parameters of the channel. We concluded by presenting a comparison of our reported values with that of other published measurement results in outdoor scenarios.
