Abstract

Now a day's composite material is frequently used in daily life, and easily available any type of composite material, the milling machining is one of the best methods to use composite material. Therefore, the objective of this work is to examine the influence of machining parameters in milling machine using Poly vinyl chloride (PVC) composite plate. This work selected machining parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut and number of plates) are each set at three levels using response surface methodology (RSM) design. Unwanted vibrations & noise were eliminated to ensure higher accuracy and surface finish laterally with a higher MRR. In this work the different number of PVC plates is attached to the workpiece and analysis the finishing of the surface, it was observed that the surface finishing is increasing when high layers of composite sheets.
