Abstract

Microgrid is the whole of loads and distributed generation units located at varying distances but close to each other. Power sharing control amongst distributed generation units is the main issues in the microgrids. Two techniques exists to conduct power sharing, in form of load current or active or reactive power sharing. Most of the researchers usually assume a single load in their microgrid system. The model proposed in this paper consider two microgrid interconnected, with multi loads. An optimisation of active power sharing model has been proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed method is evaluated using MatLab environment.
