Abstract

Druzhinin and Ramírez’s target article provides an opportunity to consider how viability is judged in do mains of varying complexity. In this com mentary I consider three aspects of un certainty: (a) its historical development in the 20th century; (b) uncertainty in different domains; and (c) uncertainty in the context of belief.
