On combined spectral shaping coding and M-FSK modulation for power line communications

Abstract

Three models of codes generating higher order spectral nulls are presented. New codes are developed applying either the power spectrum density formula, or the distance increasing mappings (DIM) or the modified generator matrix of a convolutional code.
