MOTIVATING FACTORS CONTRIBUTING TO ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT LIFE CYCLE

Abstract

This research article is directly linked with identifying motivating factors for supporting the improved life cycle of the engineers. This article has focused on identifying the changing motivational factors based on the lifespan of engineers who are working in an organization presently. This present article is facilitated with explanatory research design, and the methodological approach is both quantitative and qualitative in nature. As participants, 35 respondents have been included among them both senior engineers and the new aspirants were included among which 25 have participated in survey and 10 in interview process. The quantifiable data gathered from the survey has been analyzed with the help of statistical methods. On the other hand, responses of interview questions have been analyzed with thematic analysis. The findings of the study have revealed that engineers can be motivated by a good leadership style, good salary package, responsibility and recognition.
