Abstract
Microgrid clusters offer a vital solution for integrating a variety of dispersed renewable energy sources and supplying the grid and customers with a steady supply. Thus, the foundations of microgrid clustering technology are covered in this chapter. It covers the microgrid as a standalone entity and expands on the idea of connecting multiple microgrids and creating microgrid clusters. Furthermore, covered in this chapter are different microgrid cluster development topologies.
