Abstract

The title compound, C₂₄H₁₉NO₄, was obtained as a by-product in the synthesis of 1-phenyl-4-nitrophenylpropane-1,3- dione. The crystal structure is stabilized by several inter- and intramolecular C-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
