Abstract
This introductory note highlights the growing importance of understanding sustainability and security in the maritime domain from an integrative perspective. It introduces the volume’s objective of exploring the nexus between maritime security and sustainability across different dimensions of security, with the aim of contributing to a more holistic approach in both academic discourse and policy-making.
