Abstract
The results of measurements of the zero-field electrical resistivity, ρ(T,0), and of the magnetoresistivity, MR, are reported for single-crystal UPtGe. Below the Néel temperature, TN, there is a large anisotropy between in-plane ρ(T,0) data (the ac plane comprising the magnetic cycloid propagation direction) and the out-of-plane ρ(T,0) data. For a magnetic field applied along the orthorhombic c-axis, the in-plane MR is negative below TN, but for current perpendicular to the moment plane the MR becomes positive in the ordered region.
