Abstract

The low-temperature magnetoresistance, ρ(B)/ρ(0), of CePt2Sn2 as-cast and annealed samples has been measured. The results are interpreted in terms of Abrikosov's approach for calculating the resistivity of weakly spin-correlated Kondo-like systems. The exchange integral for the electron-impurity interaction was found to be J/kB = 2.1 K.
