Abstract

The study of phase relationships in Archean Al-Mg granulites of Ihouhaouene within the KFMASH system has shown that these rocks are not restites generated by partial melting. Therefore, their unusual bulk composition is due to pre-metamorphic processes. Projection of different bulk rock compositions from the literature in the compatibility diagram established for Al-Mg granulites shows that the possible protoliths are some kind of altered and/or weathered mafic or ultramafic rocks. There is an abridged English version. -English summary
