Abstract

A study was conducted to investigate differences in the lead isotope signature in aerosols for east- and westwinds respectively at a site near Bern, Switzerland. Aerosols were collected with 2 Berner low pressure impactors between October 96 and August 98. Lead concentration was determined by analyzing the resulting solutions with graphite furnace atomic absorption. The samples were also analyzed in respect to their isotopic composition with ICP-MS.
