Abstract

This chapter is the introductory chapter to the book “New Trends in Psychobiography”. It provides the readers with an insight in the topic of psychobiography, presenting different phases of development of psychobiography throughout the past decades. It then introduces the various chapters published in the book, their contents and aims and thereby provides the reader with a preface of new trends theories and methods in psychobiography.
