Abstract

As a cornerstone of Industry 4.0, digitalization integrates tools like the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and cloud computing, fostering innovation, agility, and efficiency. Traditional businesses, which relied on manual processes and linear models, are transitioning to digitally integrated systems to remain competitive in the fast-paced, data-driven global market. This shift enhances decision-making, streamlines workflows, and optimizes customer experiences, supported by technologies such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), business intelligence (BI), and big data analytics. Beyond businesses, digitalization impacts global economies, increasing productivity, creating jobs, and addressing societal challenges like inclusivity and access to services. Advanced technologies, including augmented reality, simulation, and mobility, further amplify its role in enabling collaboration, innovation, and sustainability. Digitalization represents a paradigm shift, driving growth and redefining the economic and social fabric of modern civilization.
