Abstract

In this paper, we have presented the simulated results of the input impedance of two gap-coupled circular microstrip patch antennas loaded with shorting post. The input impedance of this proposed antenna is simulated for various gap distances between the adjacent edges of feed patch and parasitic patch. The effect on input impedance with variation of the radius of shorting post is also studied. This simulation is performed by using the commercially available IE3D simulator based on method-of-moments.
