N2 - This study investigates the influence of social support, resilience, and optimism on the psychological well-being of young married adult Nigerian immigrants in some selected countries in North America and Europe, through the survey research design. Two hundred Nigerian immigrants were purposively selected from four North American and European countries. Data for the study were generated using the Perceived Social Support Assessment (α = 0.87), the Psychological Well-being Scale (α = 0.57), the State Optimism Measure (α = 0.85), and the Nicholson McBride Resilience Questionnaire (α = 0.79). The Pearson Product Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression model were used to analyze the collected data. The findings showed that the three independent variables contributed independently to the prediction of immigrants’ psychological well-being: social support (β = 0.239; t = 3.952, p < 0.05), resilience (β = 278; t = 2.341, p < 0.05), and optimism (β = 0.244; t = 4.863, p < 0.05). The results reveal a significant influence of social support, resilience, and optimism on the psychological well-being of Nigerian immigrants. In addition, some recommendations are made.
