Abstract
This chapter provides an analysis of an optimal economic schedule of a hybrid renewable energy and grid-connected microgrid. A DR program is integrated into the microgrid. The operational scheduling strategy is achieved by minimizing the operational cost of the generators and maximizing the DR from microgrid operators, while satisfying the technical and economic constraints.
