Abstract

In this chapter, the H filtering problem is addressed for a class of networked systems, where the measurement signal is transmitted to the remote filter stochastically. Unlike the last chapter, where the transmission process is deterministic, a new stochastic strategy is proposed here. Based on the stochastic system analysis, a sufficient condition is obtained such that the filtering error system is asymptotically stable in the mean-square sense and achieves a prescribed H performance level. A case study on a continuous stirred-tank reactors (CSTR) system is given to show the effectiveness of the proposed design.
