Abstract
In this concluding chapter, the authors reflect on the aims, applications and prospective outcomes of positive autoethnography (PosAE) – as presented in this book and in relation to positive psychology (PP) and pragmatic autoethnography (PAE). The future of PosAE and its variants are also discussed. As with other joint chapters, the structure is in the spirit of a collaborative PosAE (PosCAE), with the author voices distinguished. The chapter is divided into four sections. First the authors revisit the aims of, and need for, PosAE, then they contemplate the applications of PosAE explored in this book and examine what they have learned from it so far and share some of the challenges they faced in our journey. Finally, they envisage the future possibilities of PosAE.
