Abstract
This chapter gives a review of the implementation of the circular economy principles in sub-Saharan Africa and gives a critical analysis of the shortcomings. The possible application of AI technologies, blockchain technologies, and the Internet of Things (IoT) as enablers to achieving a circular economy is also reviewed.
