Abstract

In this paper, we present an evolutionary model for the estimation of the long-term behavior of the nonstationary wideband channel. This model is fundamentally based on the concept of non-summable interval-dependent scattering function which is employed here to obtain the stationarity parameters for time-varying wideband channels. These parameters can provide information that can be employed in system design in order to improve the performance of spatially dynamic transceivers. Simulation results are used to demonstrate the benefit of incorporating the concept developed in this paper into transceiver designs.
