N2 - The production of inexpensive consumables is the primary goal of the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. It is seen as one of the largest manufacturing sectors in the world. Emerging markets, where there is a high demand, are presently driving the industry's expansion. This study employs a case study methodology, similar to the one used in a prior study that examined the effects of applying total preventive maintenance (TPM) in a manufacturing company to streamline operations. The approach for implementing TPM was examined in this study, along with related challenges. Due to covid-19, the study had several disruptions that harmed industrial processes, globally. The findings demonstrate that since the company implemented TPM, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), has improved. The collected data for the financial year 2019, which was a pre-TPM implementation year, reported the lowest OEE of 54.31% compared to the lowest of 68.39% recorded in the financial year 2020, after the TPM's implementation had begun.
