Abstract
Measurements on the temperature dependence of resistivity (p) of polycrystalline specimens of the heavy-fermion compound U2Pt2In and of thorium-substituted (UxTh1-x)2Pt2In are reported. For U2Pt2In, a linear curve of ρ(T) is observed for 15 K > T > 1.5 K, while the x = 0.9 alloy displays a knee at T = 20 K followed upon cooling by a quadratic decrease of ρ(T).
