N2 - Aluminum is one of the most used mechanical elements in Manufacturing. This paper focuses on the analysis of its dynamic response of an Aluminum plate, under a moving load. The moving load, in this case, is assumed to be partially distributed. Rotatory inertia and damping effects were neglected, while the effect of shear deformation was put into consideration. Also, the rectangular Aluminum plate was supported by a simple form of foundation. A numerical algorithm–Finite difference was adopted in solving the mathematical model governing the deflection of plates under moving load under consideration. It was observed, among other results, that the maximum amplitude of the deflection of the Aluminum plate is a function of the contact area of the load and velocity of the moving load, which is in line with the results in the literature.
