Abstract
The utilization of data and metrics plays a crucial role in the promotion of responsible business practices and the facilitation of sustainable development in the countries of the Global South. Companies that effectively utilize data collection, analysis, and application can obtain valuable information regarding their impact on society and the environment. This enables them to identify areas that may be improved and to track their progress towards achieving sustainability goals. To effectively leverage data and metrics to promote responsible business practices and sustainable growth in the Global South, enterprises must initiate the process by quantifying and closely monitoring their impacts. The recognition of such repercussions establishes a foundation for ongoing enhancement. Furthermore, it is imperative to develop goals that are both ambitious and achievable, while also ensuring that these objectives align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
