Abstract

A non-iterative synthesis procedure for sub-harmonic stub (SHS) band-pass and band-stop filters is presented. The method ensures better agreement between the synthesized filter response and the original prototype function than was possible previously without iterative techniques. The procedure is illustrated for two L-band microstrip filters, with good agreement between modeled and measured responses.
