Abstract
Previous research works reveal that it is cumbersome to collect, process, and examine data to gain insight into the different elements of the organization and evaluate the level of digital maturity of the business. This exercise requires internal and external experts in different areas of the business. The shortage of digital tools to collect data and measure digital maturity of the business makes it difficult to bridge the aforementioned gap. To close this gap, this research is aimed at enabling the discovery and digital documentation (in a structured, interlinked, and hierarchical manner) of the levels and related constituents that make up an organization. This is achieved through the development of a digital tool that allows for the collection and digital documentation of relevant business data, automatic creation and linking of hierarchical structure, and creation of the graphical representations of the business constituents to determine digital maturity of the business.
