Abstract

In an era defined by rapid technological advancement, organizations across the globe are compelled to evolve and innovate to remain competitive and relevant. The Food and Beverage Manufacturing Sector Education Training Authority (FoodBev SETA) in South Africa is no exception. As an influential player in the space of education and training, FoodBev SETA has embarked on a transformative journey, aiming to harness the transformative power of Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies. While several approaches to achieving this goal have been documented, a comprehensive strategy for enabling best practices remains unexplored. FoodBev SETA in South Africa has recognized the potential of 4IR technologies to revolutionize its operations, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and impact. This case study highlights FoodBev SETA's journey toward digital transformation, focusing on the development of an integrated system analysis to streamline processes and elevate overall performance.
