Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution introduced rapid technological advancements, demanding a dynamic approach to assessing digital maturity in industries. Traditional methods often need to catch up due to their static nature and partial coverage of digital maturity aspects like hardware, systems, and integration. This learning chapter explores the development of an AI-based platform designed to dynamically quantify digital maturity. This platform offers a comprehensive solution that integrates skill constraints, technology identification, and industry best practices. The platform creates an automated, user-friendly digital tool using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles. Its intuitive interface allows dynamic visualization of complex relationships between digital maturity elements facilitated by AI-based probabilistic functions. This approach simplifies assessments and highlights interdependencies, giving users a clear and insightful perspective on digital maturity.
